Genesis 12 verse 1-4 (NKJV):  Now the Lord had said to Abram:”Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

I believe that this series on The Power of Obedience has been a great blessing to you. Obedience is such a central theme of the Bible. This is why you need to Imbibe this culture of obeying God into your life. If you are truly a child of Father Abraham, you will walk in his footsteps too. In our last lesson, I shared how we ought to obey God. Today by his grace, I will continue to share with you more insights into how to obey God. If you are ready, let’s delve into it right away.

HOW TO OBEY GOD?

4. In Every Area Of Your Life.

This is how God expects you to obey him. Your obedience should cut across every area of your life, i.e., spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, financially, relationally, and professionally. Precious child of God, your obedience should not be limited to certain areas of your life alone, but it should cover every area of your life. Gen 18 v 19

5. In All That You Do.

This is how God wants you to obey him. A times people obey God in their work but not in their finances, or it could be that they obey him in business but not in choosing whom to do business with or who not to do business with. God wants you to carry him along in all that you do. This is his perfect will for you and now is the time to do so in Jesus name, amen. Ps 37 v 23: Gen 21 v 22

6. All The Days Of Your Life.

Obeying God should not be a seasonal thing but something that we should be part and parcel of your life. There should never be a season of life that we should not obey God. In fact, your motto should be to Obey God every day of your life till you go to your reward. Gen 26 v 5: Gal 5 v 7

Dearly Beloved, these are further dimensions of how God expects you to obey him. God is not asking too much of you and the power to obey Him is at your disposal. So, therefore receive courage and wisdom in obeying God the more in Jesus name, amen.
