Jude 1 v 20: But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

You are welcome back to our discussion on praying in tongues or in the Spirit. I believe you have been blessed so far by the truths and benefits of praying in tongues. I also hope your appetite is being renewed as per why you need to speak or pray in tongues. There are a lot of benefits in praying like this, as you can see from Jude 1 v 20 and my prayer for you today is that you will continue to wax stronger and stronger in this dimension of prayer in Jesus name, amen. So without much ado, I’ll like to share with you today some other reasons why you should pray in tongues often.

REASONS FOR PRAYING IN TONGUES:

1. Because it enables you to pray in line with the will of God. We are all obviously interested in knowing and following God’s will for our lives and praying in the spirit helps you to pray according to God’s will. This is virtually very important because it’s one of the major keys to your prayers being answered. In other words, when you pray in the spirit, you can never pray amiss or go wrong. This is why you need to pray like this if you really want to succeed in life and in your prayer life. So if you ever want to please God in your prayers or pray the perfect prayer, then you need to pray in tongues (Rom. 8 v 26-27).
   
2. Because it opens the doorway to the supernatural for you. You are a supernatural being as a child of God and one of the tools God has given you to operate in the supernatural is speaking or praying in tongues. But the sad part is that many of God’s children are not aware of this but glory to God this is no longer a strange thing to you from today. You were made to operate in the supernatural and not just the natural realm. What do I mean by the supernatural? I mean you were meant to live above the natural or physical realm! Speaking or praying in tongues ushers you into the dimension beyond this physical realm, thus enabling you to walk upon your high places in life. So what is that matter that troubles you emotionally, physically, financially, or relationally? Praying in the spirit will offer you insights and solutions beyond the flesh, so it’s time for you to engage actively in praying in tongues. so my dear reader, would you begin from today? (1Cor. 14 v 1).

CONFESSION: I commit myself to praying in tongues regularly and consistently. By the grace and help of God, I develop my capacity to pray like this. As I pray in the spirit, I am empowered to live above the natural realm. I also enter into the realm of ruling and reigning in life. Glory be to Jesus, for I am strengthened and empowered for life. I am getting more out of my prayer life and life is also changing for the better in Jesus name, amen.
