Isaiah 40verse31: ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’
We all need speed in our lives to one degree or the other. This is why God’s promise of supernatural speed is your best option. Thank God for natural speed but supernatural speed is far better. As you can see from our text scripture (Isaiah 40verse31), when you yoke yourself with the Lord, he supplies you with supernatural strength to mount up with wings like an eagle, run and not faint, and walk and not be weary. Only Jehovah can give you this kind of strength and support. 1Ki18v46.
By the way, what do we mean by supernatural speed?
-It is moving or operating by the assistance and help of God. This is evident by God’s hand coming into your life.
-It is running or operating at the speed of the Almighty.
-It is God helping you to run faster, well, better, and farther than you normally run and also increasing your levels of accomplishment and impact. Ps18v29
We thank God for what you can do but when you partner with God, you can travel faster and better
Our God is a God of supernatural speed. He can increase and renew your speed if you are properly connected to him. Rom9v28.
When you take a close look at the scriptures, you will observe that the Holy Spirit is a quickening spirit. Rom8v11. What does this mean?
It means that the Holy Spirit is a motivator, mobilize, and initiator. He moves and propels people into action, especially concerning his purpose and plans for our lives. The Spirit of God helps people to be proactive and not passive. We have several examples of this in the scriptures (i.e. 1 Sam11v6-7; Jug3v10:6v34-35). So in the same vein, the Holy Spirit wants to come upon your life so that you will be able to run the race of life and destiny. May this be your testimony and song in Jesus name, amen.
