Psalm 37verse23-24: ‘V23- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. V24- Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.’

Being in the centre of God’s will for your life is one of the best things that can ever happen to you as a believer and it is also the safest place to be in your life. Why is this so? It is because God’s will plays a major role in our lives. This is why you need to strive to always be in the centre of God’s will for your life. As you can see from our text scripture (Psalms 37verse23-24) God orders the steps of his children, so your life is not an accident and should therefore not be lived anyhow. So how can I be in the centre of God’s will? How can you be in the place that God wants you to be, do the things that God wants you to do and become the kind of person that God wants you to become? Very simple! Be ready to hearken to God’s voice! Or to put it another way! Be ready to do what God says do, be ready to go where God says go and be ready to become what God wants you to become. If you are willing to do this, being in the centre of God’s will be a reality in your life. Ps81v10-11; Matt19v16-22. Are you ready to be totally surrendered and submitted to his will? Jer42v6.

If your answer is yes, then I rejoice with you because you are about to experience walking in the centre of God’s will. However, in as much as this is a good thing to do, to do this effectively, you must be aware of how God speaks to his children! Ps95v7. So how does God speak to his children? Below are some of the common ways God speaks to his children:

1. Through His Word. Ps103v20.

2. Through his servants. 2Chro20v20.

3. Through your recreated human spirit. Pro20v27.

4. Through dreams and visions. Matt1v20: 2v12.

5. Through your thoughts and ideas. 1Cor2v16

6. Through nature (what you see, hear, feel, smell or touch). Ps19v1-3.

7. Through foolish and strange means i.e. he used the donkey or the star .1Cor26-29; Matt2v1-2.

My dear friends, you just need to be sensitive enough to know when he is speaking. May Jehovah open your eyes of understanding in Jesus’ name amen.
