Ephesians 4verse22-24: ‘V22- That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; V23-And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; V24- And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.’

The Only constant thing in life is change, so refusing to change is the surest way of losing your position, place, and relevance in the scheme of things. This is why you should be open to change. I know that people struggle to turn a new leaf but this can be done if you engage God’s methods and his ways. I have shared this with you so far in this series, and today, by His grace, I will be shedding more light on this. So here we go!

Tips On How To Change Yourself:

3. Associate with people of like minds. If you want to change, you need to find people who want to change for the better. People who want to go where you want to go or become like who you want to be. People who share the same ideas and beliefs as you have. This is very important if you will succeed in changing for the better! So, who do you have in your corner? Who are your associates? 4. Set short and long-term goals. This is one of the keys to turning a new leaf as an individual. Have smart goals in place for who you want to become. Define in clear terms where you want to arrive and what you intend to achieve. 1Cor14v8. Doing this will serve as a blueprint and compass for where you want to go and who you want to become. Setting these goals will also help track and monitor your progress and development. So, if you have not done this, you need to get this in place now!

5. Stop comparing where you are with other people. You need to remember that you risk discouraging yourself and undermining your progress when you compare yourself with others. Rather, compare yourself with your set goals and aspirations! Let your targets and progress be more important to you than what others are doing or pursuing. Besides you must understand that your calling and purpose differ from others and you are also not trying to accomplish the same things. So stay focused on your journey! Be focused on your destination. Avoid distractions and comparisons as much as possible. 2Cor10v12; Luk9v62.

As you keep your eyes on your standards and expectations, you will get there in Jesus name amen.
