Isaiah 54 verse2-3: V2- Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; V3- For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

My dear friends, I hope you are enjoying this series of teachings on stretching yourself. This is imperative for you if you really want to see growth like never before. The price to pay is to stretch. I honestly pray that these truths will inspire you to stretch yourself. So, how do you stretch yourself?

HOW TO STRETCH:

9. By having a pioneer’s mentality and not a settler’s mindset. Those who have a settler’s mindset behave like someone who has arrived, while those who have a pioneer’s mentality keep searching for new heights and horizons. So, which group do you belong to? My charge to you today is to be dissatisfied with your present status and condition because there is more that is available in God. So reach out for more! Matt5v6.

10. By doing something new. Doing something new always takes us out of our comfort zones. It also helps us to break new ground and barriers. So my dear friends, when was the last time you did something different from what you were used to?

11. By Challenging Your Current Situation. At times, we limit God by accepting the status quo or where we are. But you need to stop limiting God and start putting faith pressure on your circumstances so that you can move to the next level. Are you willing to take up this challenge? Jer32v17, 27.

12. By Stepping Outside the Box. This is another powerful means of stretching yourself. Decide to be a barrier breaker and a line crosser. Choose to be daring and adventurous instead of staying in your shell. Be willing to make the move. Be ready to walk on water. Barriers only exist in your mind. So, let no one or anything stop you from growing. Matt14v28-29.

I pray for you today that you will find the courage and resilience to make that needed move in Jesus’ name amen.
