Isaiah 54 verse2-3: V2- Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; V3- For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

Do you want to grow? Then you must be willing to stretch yourself beyond your current limits or circumstances! This is the price you need to pay for growth and progress. This is also what our text scripture (Isaiah 54verse2-3) also says in verse 2 of the Fifty Four Chapter of Isaiah. Seating in your comfort zone will not help you to grow! You need to move into the challenge zone, which is the place where you will be stretched on all sides. So, are you ready to stretch your faith, thinking, mind, horizon, and abilities? The answers you give to these questions will tell if you are ready for a better outcome in life. So before I share with you how to stretch, what do we mean by stretch?

To Stretch means the following:

Β -To extend by force: lengthen, widen, or extend something.

-To extend excessively- to extend something excessively so that the shape is permanently altered.

-To extend in space- to spread out or extend over an area or in a particular direction.

-To extend to full length- to straighten or extend the body or part of it, especially the limbs, to full length.

-To exceed the limit or break the rule -to strain or push something to the limit.

These are just some of the dimensions of what stretching is all about. So, how can you stretch yourself? I believe you should be interested in this because this is the key that will unlock growth in your life like never before! So off we go!

HOW TO STRETCH:

1. By doing a bit more than you are doing now. What are you currently doing now? You can step it up or take it to the next level. In this way, you will be making room for greater growth. Matt17v21.

2. By networking and partnering with others. The truth of the matter is that there is someone who knows what you need or has what you need. Your association with them helps you leverage this principle so as to take you to the next level. So, are you willing to network with the right kind of people? Eccl4v9.

3. By working with the Best. By this, I mean the best people, tools, resources, etc. This is another invaluable means of growth if you are willing to pay the price. Jer12v5.

4. By doing what you have never done before. There is a saying in my language (Yoruba) that says if you want to get what you have never gotten before, then you must be willing to do what you have never done before. So my dear friends, to what extent are you willing to dare? 1Ki3v4.

Prayer for Today:Β Lord, help me to be a doer of this word and not a hearer alone in Jesus’ name amen.

CONFESSION: I say no to every form of limitation in my life. I refuse to settle for less or little because there’s more available in God. So therefore, I reach out for the fullness of God’s blessings, and as I stretch, I enter into new possibilities of growth and increase on all sides in Jesus’ name, amen.
