2Corinthians5verse18-20 ‘V18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; v19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. V20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.’
I hope you know that the business of winning souls is our supreme task as believers. This is our responsibility and mandate as children of God. It’s also an area of our lives that we need to drastically improve. This is why I believe God is sending this series of lessons our way and I believe that you have been blessed by the truths that we have examined so far. Today by his grace, I will proceed further by sharing more insights on how to be effective in winning souls. So if you are ready, let’s examine these principles right away.
Ways to Be Effective in Soul Winning:
4. Start right where you are. Sometimes we make things a bit difficult for ourselves by looking for perfection or complicating things. One of the simple ways by which you can win souls is by speaking to the people in your circle of influence now. I mean people like your friends, colleagues, family, neighbors, mates etc. These people are close to you and represent people in your Jerusalem (Acts1v8). So, my dear reader, start using the opportunities you have now in sharing the gospel. And as you do this faithfully, God will bring more opportunities your way. So what are you waiting for? Eph5v16
5. Make evangelism a lifestyle. In other words, make it a part of your life. This also means that it becomes part of what you do regularly. This could be on a weekly, monthly basis etc. Just make sure it’s something you do consistently and not just once in a while. This can become a reality in your life if you commit yourself to the process. I pray that grace will be made manifest to you as you imbibe this practice in Jesus name, amen. 1Pet5v10
6. Set Goals for winning souls for yourself. Just like you set financial or academic goals for yourself, you can also set goals for soul winning. One of the benefits of doing such a kind of thing is that it will challenge you the more as per the business of winning souls .1Cor9v16.
So my dear reader, when will you set your goals as per winning souls? And as you strive to fulfill these goals, you also need to keep revising and upgrading these goals from time to time. As you do this, you will get better and stronger in Jesus name, amen.
My dearly beloved ones, it’s a new season for you because I believe that a fresh burden for soul winning has come on you today in Jesus name amen.
