Channelling Your Energies Wisely

Ecclesiastes 6verse9 ‘Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.’

Dearly beloved, one of the wise decisions that you can ever make in life is to channel your energies wisely. This is particularly important if you really want to fulfil your colourful destiny. Winners focus while losers spray. This is what our text scripture (Ecclesiastes 6verse9) is also talking about. God does not want you to be a jack of all trades and master of none. Some people are not achieving much even though they have greater potential because of dissipating their energies all over the place. 1Cor6v12. You need to know how to channel your energies wisely. Not everything requires your attention and devotion. So if you won’t waste your energies, what are the things to channel your energies towards? Channel your energies towards:

1. Your gifts and abilities. Rom11v29

2. Your Purpose and Destiny. 2Tim1v9

3. Your Dreams and Visions. Acts2v17

5. Your Goals and Aspirations. Ps16v8

6. Your Passion and Love. Ps26v8

My dear reader, these are just some important things you need to channel your energies towards. And by the way, these things that I have mentioned to you are the things that will bring you the greatest rewards in life. But to channel your energies wisely, it’s also important to know the things that will help you do this effectively. So what are those things I need to pay attention to if I will effectively channel my energies wisely?

1. Know where your energy is going. This essentially has to do with tracking your use of energy.

2. Know what affects your energy levels

3. Make changes to protect your energy

4. Know when you will have more energy

5. Know where not to invest your energy

6. Schedule your energy levels.

If you pay adequate attention to these things, you will be on the road to managing your energy levels effectively. May today usher you into a new season of using your energies wisely.

Prayer for Today: Holy Spirit, help me direct my energies to the right channel in Jesus’s name.

CONFESSION: I receive grace and wisdom today in channelling my energies wisely. I refuse to focus my time, energies and resources on things that do not affect my life and destiny. I choose to use my energies on the things that will bring me the greatest rewards and also glorify his holy name!
