Genesis 32v24, 26-28, 30 ‘V24And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. V26-And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. V27-And he said unto him, what is thy name? And he said, Jacob. V28-And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. V30And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.’
You are welcome back to our discussion on this important subject of experiencing a change of story encounter! God takes delight in giving us divine encounters that will change our stories forever! And I believe that there are areas of your life that you desire to see a change of story. This is why this series of teachings is coming your way; I pray that God will grant you further understanding in Jesus name, amen. I am still talking with us about the avenues God uses to give us a change of story encounter! Today by his grace, I will be sharing with you the final key in this regard, so if you are ready, here we go!
3. As you engage in covenant practices. Yes, my dear reader, there are certain covenant practices that provoke or encourage a change of story encounter! And it’s important for you to know them if you are really interested in experiencing a change of story! So what are these covenant practices? Some of them are as follows:
-The practice of rejoicing in the Lord and showing gratitude. I thes5v18
-The practice of praying.1thes5v17
-The practice of fasting.Matt17v21
-The practice of serving God diligently. Lk2v36-37
-The practice of Giving Faithfully and Consistently (i.e. giving your tithes, first fruits, seed faith Offering and giving to the needy to mention just a few) Pro3v9-10: 18v16; Ps126v5-6: Gen4v4; Ps41v1-3. These forms of giving are various avenues of engaging the covenant in provoking a change of story encounter! These practices are real and work for those who follow through with their hearts.
I have been a beneficiary of this practice over the years and several other people too. If it worked for them, it can also work for you too because God is not a respecter of persons but a respecter of faith. Rom 10v12
So, my dear reader, it’s time for you to take your involvement and engagement more seriously in these covenant practices! They surely have the capacity to change your life and ministry! I strongly believe that you will testify of God’s Faithfulness as you engage these principles in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Today: Lord, I receive grace to faithfully engage these covenant practices in my life in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: I believe that the word works wonders. The word works all the time. The word works whenever we work it in the appropriate manner and way. Therefore, I believe that this will be my testimony as I work these principles in Jesus name, amen.
