2Corinthians5verse18-20 ‘V18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; v19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. V20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.’
Our supreme task as believers is winning souls unto God. This is one of the unique and important assignments that we have as believers. This is why it’s a supreme task. i.e. it’s of the greatest and most significant things you can ever do for the kingdom of God. My prayer is that through this series of teachings, a fresh burden for winning souls will rest on us all. Today by his grace, I want to share with you how we can be effective in the business of winning souls. I know this is something anyone who is serious about winning souls should be interested in. I guess you also want to know how this supreme task can be made easier. If this is the case, I want us to examine the following principles that can help us in this cause.
Ways to Be Effective in Soul Winning:
1. Ask God for the courage to start sharing the gospel. And which other better way can you do this other than by setting out in faith. You need to realize that the spirit of courage is already in you (2Tim1v7). The way to activate this boldness is by venturing out in faith. So it’s time to be his voice. It’s time to start giving out tracts, telling people about the love of Jesus, inviting people to church, showing the love of Christ to the people around you etc. As you do this, your confidence levels will rise.
2. Ask the lord for mercy and forgiveness. We all need to repent to one degree or the other when it comes to winning souls because we have not all done what we could do with all the opportunities that God has brought our way. So my dear reader, it’s time to repent and do the first works. Rev2v4-5
3. Ask God for a burden for the lost. One of the reasons for apathy towards soul winning is a lack of burden for souls. But the answer to this problem is for you to develop a burden for the lost. So how can you do this?
-By praying for those who are not saved around you (i.e. your friends, colleagues, family, neighbors etc.) Rom9v1-2;10v1
-By allowing the love of Christ to flow through you unto others around you. Jn13v34-35. It’s not just enough to profess Christ, but you need to live out intentionally before others so that they can be drawn to the light.
My dearly beloved 0nes, the task of winning souls can become easier if we are willing and courageous enough to adopt some of these strategies in our daily operations. I pray that you will begin to record unimaginable success in soul winning in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Today: Today in the name of Jesus, I do away with every form of excuses for not winning souls in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: I renounce every spirit of fear and insecurity! I am no longer afraid of winning souls because I know that I am never alone. Jehovah is with me. Therefore, I go forth in his name, knowing fully well that he will prosper my soul-winning efforts in Jesus name, amen.
