Proverbs 23verse7: ‘For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.’
A positive self-image can boost your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This is why you need to pay attention to it. Moreover, your self-image and self-worth are closely related to each other. While your self-image talks about how you see yourself, your self-image talks about how you value yourself. Both of them are equally vital if you will realize the fullness of your potential as a believer. Just like how you see yourself will impact how you value yourself, this is also true when you look at this the other way around. Therefore, my dear friends, there are certain things I want to remind you of that will help you get the best out of your self-image and self-worth. What are those things?
1. Things To Remind Yourself Constantly When The Enemy Comes To Attack Your Self Image:
i. You have come a long way.
ii. It is not too late.
iii. You are worthy. 2Cor5v21.
iv. Other people’s opinions of you are rarely accurate.
v. You are not what happened to you. For instance, the fact that you failed does not make you a failure.
vi. You are more than that one broken piece of you.
vii. You are a work in progress. Ps102v16.
viii. The best time to be extra kind to yourself is when you don’t feel like it.
ix. You need to distance yourself to see your situation. Ps46v10.
X. It’s okay not to feel okay sometimes. This is why you must walk by faith and not by sight alone. 2Cor5v7.
My dear friends, I want to constantly remind you of the above-mentioned truths if you will truly fulfill your colorful destiny. See you in our next lesson to conclude this series.

Prayer for Today: Lord, help me to fully embrace the truths about my self-image and self-worth in Jesus’ name, amen.
CONFESSION: I am what God says I am. I have what God says I have. I can do what God says I can do. I choose to see myself the way God sees me, therefore I renounce everything contrary to my self-image and self-worth in Jesus’ name, amen.
