Your Position In Christ 4

Eph.2v6: And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Glory be to God, for you have a new status in Christ and you now occupy a new position too.

This means that your level has changed too, for you are now in a far better place than where you were before you got saved. You are operating on a new level and platform, for you are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers according to (Eph.2v6). This is how you need to see yourself from henceforth and this is what we have been talking about in this series of teachings. God’s desire and expectation is for you to begin to operate from your new level in Christ and this is possible if you will start embracing and living out these truths. I pray that this will be your testimony in Jesus name, amen.

Once again, we will take a step further in our understanding of our new position in Christ Jesus. I believe you are ready to discover some new treasures about your new status in Christ, so here we go!

NEW STATUS IN CHRIST:

1. You are now the body of Christ. This is your new position in Christ. This simply means that you are his feet, hands, nose et cetera. You now represent Christ here on earth. You are the Christ that people see and will know. This is a powerful position that you have been elevated to and you need to begin to see yourself from this perspective (1Cor.12v27). You are a member of the body of Christ and Christ is the head of that body. So you have gotten awesome responsibilities on your hands, for he has chosen you as his voice, messenger, and representative here on earth. Although he is not here physically, he is here physically in and through you. So my dearly beloved ones, to what extent are you representing Christ? And by the way, he has equipped you with everything you need to represent well; therefore, you cannot fail. So the time has come for you to rise to this enviable position that you now occupy in Christ; I see you manifesting his glory and grace as you do so in Jesus name, amen.
   
2. You are the Lord’s Anointed or the Anointed of the Lord. This is your new position in Christ. This means you are no longer powerless, but the powerful one for you are a carrier and partaker of his anointing. You have the power of God at your disposal. You have more than enough power at your disposal. You have what it takes to produce results because you are the reservoir of his power. Glory be to God, what a great difference this will make in your life when you begin to see yourself from the viewpoint. Therefore, I encourage you from henceforth to begin to see yourself in this light. You will definitely begin to see a turnaround for the better as you embrace this truth in Jesus name, amen. My dear reader, start seeing yourself as the empowered one and not the weak one (1Jn.2v20, 27). As you embrace this truth, I see a new you arising for the world to see. I see total transformation all around you. So rise and shine for his glory!

Prayer for Today: Precious Holy Spirit, I acknowledge my new position as the Lord’s Anointed and a member of the body of Christ in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: Thank you, Father, for elevating and changing my status in Christ. I choose to walk in my new position in Christ and I renounce every connection to my former position in the flesh. Because my status has changed, my level also has changed. I walk in the consciousness of his power that is available to me. I am his body and representative here on earth. I am his voice and messenger and by his grace, I represent him well in all the places I go in Jesus name, amen.
