Eph.2v6: And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
As believers, we have a new position in Christ because your status changed when you got born again. This is a fundamental truth that many believers are not aware of, and this perhaps accounts for why many children of God are not walking in the fullness of what they have in Christ. This is why these series of messages are coming your way today. I trust that these teachings will change your life forever. Our text scripture in (Eph.2v6) clearly makes us know that we now have a new position in Christ. Do you realize this, and to what extent are you walking in your new position in Christ? The answers you give will reveal where you are with regards to understanding your new status in Christ.
So my dear reader, what kind of position do you now occupy as a believer? What is your new placement in Christ? These are the things I intend to share with you as we proceed in our discourse.
NEW STATUS IN CHRIST:
- You are now seated with Christ in heavenly places. This is your position now in Christ and you need to understand the implication of this truth. This simply means that you are seated at the highest place of authority and power in the universe and glory be to God, you are not alone in that position, for you are seated with Christ there. You now rule together with Christ and in fact, you ought to also reign with him. This is your new position in Christ, so stop acting or behaving like someone who is a nobody. It’s time for you to begin to act and function in your new position in Christ. It’s time for you to begin to exercise the influence and power that you have for the good of humanity and the kingdom of God. It’s time to operate from your new status in Christ. Will you start from today? (Eph.2v6)
- You have been made nigh by the blood of Christ. What does this mean? It simply means that you are no longer an outcast but the beloved. You are no longer separated but close to the Father. This is your new position in Christ. So stop saying you are far from God or not that close to God. When you act like this, you are simply saying that God is a liar, which will be very untrue. So change the way you see yourself. Begin to see yourself in light of your new status. Begin to act like someone who is truly close to the Father. Wow! What a privilege and honour to be this close to God. It’s time for you to begin to walk in the fullness of your new position. That change starts now. Are you ready to embrace this new way of living? (Eph.2v13)
Precious child of God, I challenge you from today to begin to walk in the fullness of your new status in Christ. Will you rise up to this challenge?

Prayer for Today: Thank you, Father, for elevating me to a new position and status in Christ Jesus.
CONFESSION: I fully acknowledge and embrace my new status in Christ. I choose to see myself from this perspective from henceforth. I refuse to walk lesser than my true status in Christ. I rebel against every contrary position that I have ever held unto. I take a firm stand against every attempt of Satan to bring me down. I am living up to my new status in Christ by his wisdom and grace. I am walking in the fullness of my new position in Christ. Glory be to God, for I will never be put to shame in Jesus name, amen.
