Wonder Working Word 2

Acts19v20 ‘So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.’

The Word works wonders! It is not just a slogan or cliché but absolutely true! God’s Word is a solution provider and also a pathfinder! But if the Word will work for you, there are certain conditions to be met. The Word does not just work like that without you fulfilling the conditions. And thanks be to God, those conditions are not difficult. In our last lesson, I shared with you one of the conditions for prospering in the Word. Today by his grace, our focus will be on another important condition for the Word to work wonders in our lives .If you are ready for this, here we go!

2. How you receive the Word. Your attitude towards the Word will determine whether it will work or not. Pro13v13. And guess what? Our attitudes are so important because it will determine our altitude and how you will perform! So what can of attitude do you have towards the Word of God? Only you can tell whether it’s the right or wrong attitude. However, in order for you not to be in the dark, I will be sharing with you some of the kinds of right attitude that you need to have towards God’s Word If it will profit you or not!
RIGHT ATTITUDES:

2. Believing Attitude. The Word will only work when you have a believing attitude towards it. Not every believer has a Faith or believing attitude towards the Word. Lk1v20, 45. A good example is that of Zechariah and his Wife, Elizabeth! Elizabeth was a believer, while Zechariah doubted the promise of God! So, my dear brothers and sisters, it takes having a believing attitude towards the Word of God if it’s going to produce for you! Therefore make up your mind today that you will choose to believe his Word regardless of the situation of life. I guarantee you that you won’t be put to shame!

3. An Expectant Attitude. Expectation is the mother of manifestation! If you are not expecting the Word to come to pass, then it may not come to pass. This is why you need to have an expectant attitude towards the Word! If his Word will profit you, you must expect it to work for you! Acts2v41. So how strong is your expectation? Blessed are those who are not expecting anything for they shall not be disappointed!

4. A Studious Attitude. This is the kind of attitude that the Berean Believers had (Acts17v11). They did not only receive the Word but they went further to study or research the Word of God on their own. This is another important quality you must inculcate into your life if you really want the Word to work for you. My dear friends it’s not just enough to receive God’s Word, you need to study it for yourself if it’s going to really produce for you!

My dearly beloved ones, your attitude towards the Word is very important if you will truly experience the wonders of his Word! Therefore, let your resolution from today be in line with this truth. I see you going to new levels in Jesus name amen.
