Philippians4verse6-7: V6- Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. V7- And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
You are welcome back to our discussion on why you should stop worrying. I believe that you have been blessed by the truths I have shared with you so far and I also believe that today’s lesson will greatly impact your life and ministry as I share with you more reasons why you should not worry. Are you ready for this? So off we go!
REASONS TO STOP WORRYING:
3. Because God cares so much about you. In fact, you are his concern and you matter to God. So if God is this concerned about my life, why should I worry? I hope you can see the logic in this. As a believer, you have no business in worrying because your heavenly Father cares so much for you. So you need to put an end to all forms of worrying from henceforth. Say this after me: I matter to God and I am of great concern to him. Let this sink into your inner consciousness because it is the truth and nothing more but the truth. This truth is emphasised again and again in the scriptures, as you can see here: (Ps40v5, 11; Matt10v29-31; Isa49v14-16). So, my dear friends, you have no business worrying anymore because no one cares for you like your heavenly Father.
4. Because God’s provisions cover every area of your life. God’s provisions cover your past, today and tomorrow. So why worry? In fact, God’s grace is more than enough for you. There is nothing you are going through today or will go through in the future that his grace does not cover you. So you simply don’t have any reason to worry anymore because the God of all grace is your God. 1Pet5v10; 2Cor9v8; Ps50v10-12.
My dear friends, it’s a new day and dawn because your days of worrying are over as you embrace these truths in Jesus name amen.
