Why You Need The Anointing? 1

Colossians 1verse11 ‘Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.’

Have you ever wondered why you need the anointing in your life? Well, the answers you have been looking for will be found in this series of teaching. God never does his things without a purpose and there are reasons why you need the anointing in your life as a believer.Pro16v4.
By the way, what is the anointing? It is the power, strength and might of God.it is the enablement or empowerment of God.Acts1v8.The anointing is something that you already have as a believer (2Cor1v21) but our emphasis today is on the reasons why you need it in your life.
So what is the purpose or significance of the anointing? So what is it meant to do for you and in your life? These are the things I will be sharing with you in this series and so without much ado, let’s examine some of the reasons for the anointing.
REASONS FOR THE ANOINTING:

1. Because it is the super ability of God. The anointing is your strengthener and enabler! This is what apostle Paul also meant in our text scripture (Colossians 1verse11). The anointing is the source of your strength. It will make you stronger than your enemies or challenges. And it’s different from natural ability because the natural ability is limited but the anointing is unlimited. When God’s super ability comes on man’s natural ability, it turns them into a supernatural being that produces supernatural results. This is what we see at work in the lives of the anointed people in Scriptures like David or Samson to mention a few Jug14v6, 19. So my dear reader, with the anointing, the ability to get results supernaturally is here! This is why you have the anointing and it’s time for supernatural results in all areas of your life.

2. Because it’s the burden-removing and yoke-destroying power of God. Yes it is the power of God. There is no doubt about that but beyond that, it is the power of God to remove burdens and destroying yokes. So what kind of burden or yokes is in your life? Or who do you know that is under any kind of yoke or burden? This is why the anointing exists! So therefore, I can confidently say that an end has come to every burden or yoke of the enemy in your life. So in the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that every burden or yoke of the enemy in any area of your life is terminated in Jesus name, amen. Isa10v27: Ps142v7. In fact, I want you to say this out loud, every yoke or burden upon my life is destroyed today in Jesus name, amen. If you believe this, can I hear a resounding amen?

3. Because the anointing is a life changer. It changes people’s lives and circumstances. I have seen this over and over again. My dear reader, this is one of the reasons why I know that your life will never remain the same as a result of the anointing. Wherever the anointed is, lives and destinies are changed forever and the better too. This is what happened to Saul as he encountered the anointing. 1Sam10v6-7. His life, story, status and things changed completely. Precious child of God, this is one of the reasons why you carry the anointing in my life and in the name of Jesus, I decree that everything about your life is changing for the better because the anointing transforms lives and circumstances. So I see no reason why your life will be ordinary anymore. As you begin to appropriate these truths, I see you changing for the better.2ki2v15.
