Pro.26v2: Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.

Have you ever asked yourself the reason why things are not working? This is one of the most important questions you can ever ask yourself and why is this so. It’s so because you will be gaining wisdom and insight as to why things are the way they are. This is what this series of teachings have been doing, opening our eyes of understanding to the root causes of our struggles and failures to make us better and stronger at the end of the day. So far, I have shared three reasons why things may not be working well for you, and today in this lesson; I will be sharing another major reason why things are not working. So without much ado, let’s examine it right away.

REASONS WHY THINGS ARE NOT WORKING:

4. It’s not yet time. Life is supposed to be lived in seasons and not just anyhow. There is a time for everything, and there is an appointed time for things to happen for you. So when you try to force the issue outside the timing of your life, it will lead to much frustration and despair. Things may not be happening yet for you now because it’s not your time (Gen.18v14; Eccle.3v1). It’s not your fault or error; it’s simply a matter of timing and destiny. So stop worrying yourself to death. Instead, focus your attention on preparing and waiting for your time.
However, you need to understand some important truths about time if you will profit from understanding your time. Some of the truths are as follows:
There is a right time for everything in life. You need to know this precious child of God with absolute conviction. Timing is everything in life, and God’s time is the best (Eccle.3v11). To understand this better, check out the following:

-The right action at the right time = Success.
-The wrong action at the wrong time = Failure.
-The right action at the wrong time = Resistance.
-The wrong action at the right time = Mistake.

This is why it’s so crucial for you not to miss your time (Matt.25v1-13). Everybody has his/her own time. So there is no need to be jealous or envious of another person. This is an important truth that you need to know personally. Everything comes to you at the right time. So be patient. The fact that it’s not happening now does not mean it won’t happen for you later. I believe this is a new word for somebody. So, believe and receive it (Ps.107v15-19).
Your time will come, but you need to:
Wait and trust in the Lord. This is what Joseph and David did. If they could wait, you too can (Pro.3v5).
Be prepared and ready for it. How prepared are you for your time? (2Chro.27v6).
Have a good attitude. You need to have a good attitude while you are waiting for your time to come. This is where you will be tested the most, so make up your mind to be steadfast in your disposition. Don’t allow the enemy to steal your joy and peace. You will get there if you faint not (Isa.30v18).

My dear reader, I want you to be steadfast in your waiting season because joy comes tomorrow. Your change is around the corner; it’s just a matter of time, so give yourself a fair chance of success and stop beating yourself on the head. Your waiting should not be in vain.

CONFESSION: My God is never late but always right on time. Therefore, I will not be moved or shaken by my circumstances, for God never forgets his own. I shall be remembered for good. My season will come, and I will wait for it. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I will not allow a man or things to move me out of my place. I remain steadfast in my disposition and devotion, knowing that my God will never forget or fail me. I know that my season of change is around the corner, and it will not elude me in Jesus name, amen.
