Romans 12verse7 ‘Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: Or he that teacheth, on teaching;’
You are welcome back to our discussion on what ministry is really all about. There is a lot of confusion or misconceptions about what ministry is about. This is why God is bringing this truth your way. I pray that this revelation will change your life forever and for good in Jesus name amen. So what is ministry all about then?
Real, authentic and genuine ministry is:
1. Service.This is what ministry is all about! It’s about rendering assistance, aid, help unto others. Real ministry is not targeted at you but at others. Infact ministry is about meeting the needs of others. This is what Jesus Christ our Lord and savior modeled and showed us by his example. Acts10v38: Matt20v28. So which need are you meeting? what contributions are you bringing to the table?
2. Work. Ministry is neither a place for lazy people nor a place for funfair, glamor or pleasure. Ministry is a place for laboring. This is how our Master (Jesus Christ), our Model for ministry, did ministry. He was not a lazy person. He labored night and day, this is what ministry is all about. Jn4v34: Matt9v37-38: Jn5v17;9v4: 1Tim5v17-18. So my dear brothers and sisters, are you ready to labor? Are you ready to labor in prayers and in the word? Are you ready to toil and give your best?
