Ephesians5 verse16 ‘Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.’
Time is a priceless and precious commodity. Time is a gift from God to you that must be used productively. To gain control of your life, you must gain control of your time. This is why time is your life and also the reason why you can’t afford to waste your time. It’s either you are investing or whiling away your time. God wants you to redeem your time. What does this mean? He wants you to make the best use of your time. I know a lot of things are calling for your attention but you need to choose your focus wisely. So if you will use your time, you need to pay attention to certain things! What are these truths that can help you use time wisely?
1. Track your Time. This simply means keeping a log of how you spend time every waking moment. This is something you need to do if you will manage time wisely.
2. Look for things in your time log that is taking you off your task or goals. Identify and eliminate the bad habit. SOS2V15.
3. Be intentional with your time. You need to decide ahead what you want to do with your time. Dan1v8
4. Prioritize your Goals and Tasks. How can you do this? You do this by:
-Focusing on tasks that are urgent and important first. 1Cor10v23
-Leaving tasks that are neither urgent nor important for the last or even delegating them to others.
-Do the important tasks or goals when you have the most energy.
-Spend quality time with the people that you love and admire.
5. Fight to stay focused on your Priorities. This is something that you have to do constantly if you really want to manage your time effectively. I believe that these nuggets will empower you to use your time wisely from henceforth in Jesus name, amen.
