Time to Apply 3

Philippians 4verse9 ‘Those things, which ye have both learned, and receiveth, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.’

You are welcome to our discussion on applying the truths you have received or learnt. You have to move from just being a hearer to becoming a doer. Applying God’s word is far better than applying anything in your life. And you also need to know that there are phases or stages of applying God’s truths. Usually you go through the following stages as you applying the word:
-The Blade
-The Ear
-And the Full Corn (Mk4v26-29)
The truth is that you will have easy and hard won victories as you go through this process of application. But if you don’t give up, you will eventually win.
So my dear reader, what are the things that will help you to be a doer or executor of what you have learnt and received? They are as follows:

1. A Willing Heart. Without a willing mind, you cannot be a doer of his word. So it’s important to make up your mind today that you will be willing to apply his word in your life and vocation. So are you willing to apply the word? You have to do this for yourself and only you can do it. Isa1v19

2. A Committed Heart. It takes commitment to possess his promises and prophecies. So how committed are you to those things that you have learnt? My dear reader, there will be times when doubts and uncertainties will come about what you have received but your commitment to his promises will keep you standing and firm in Jesus name, amen. Commitment is stronger than emotions, interest or sentiments. its strength of character. So my God grant you the grace and wisdom to persevere in Jesus name amen.LK8v15: Deut1v36

3. A Graceful Heart. Dearly beloved, you need grace to be a doer. This is why we have a blessed helper and comforter in the Holy Spirit. He will come to your aid if you call upon him. For he is ever faithful and willing to help those who depend on him. May this be your testimony as you lean on the Holy Spirit today. Phlip4v13

My dear reader, I believe that these Nuggets that you have received, will help you in becoming a doer of what you have learnt in Jesus name amen.

CONFESSION: Thank you, Holy Spirit, for opening my eyes of understanding to these truths. I will never remain the same and things won’t remain the same with you because I move into a new dimension of reality and experience. It’s no longer business as usual because God’s word is working mightily in me!
