Ps.24v6: This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face. Selah.
Like I have been saying in this series of teachings, God is seeking a generation of true Seekers. I pray and desire that you will be one of them. Yes, it’s better to seek the Lord than to seek things. Most of the time, we get our priorities wrong by putting the blessings before the Blesser. God is obviously not against you getting blessed but he wants to come first in your life before the blessings. In actual fact, there are blessings that come into our lives due to Seeking God, and I’ll like to share some of them with us today. So if you are ready, here we go!
BLESSINGS OF SEEKING GOD:
1. You get to know God better and More. Seeking God genuinely will greatly enhance your knowledge and workings of God. This is one of the peculiar blessings of being a Seeker. There is a difference between knowing God and knowing about him. A lot of people know about God but lack intimate knowledge of him. This is one of the blessings you will experience as you seek the Lord (Pro.28v5).
2. His hand will be on you for good. God’s presence will be your heritage and lot as you seek him in spirit and truth. I am sure you don’t want this kind of blessings to elude you. This is why you need to take your seeking of God seriously. May today usher you into a new season in your walk with God (Ezra 8v22).
3. You will not lack the good things of life. This simply means you will prosper in your ways and deeds. True prosperity is the heritage of those who truly seek him and this also will be your portion as you seek him (Ps.34v10). I have seen this at work in the life of those who seek him sincerely, I am persuaded this too will be your portion in Jesus name, amen (2Chro.31v21). You won’t struggle to succeed in Jesus’s name because this is your portion as a seeker of God. If you believe this, say a big amen.
4. Your life will be preserved and secured. Seeking the Lord will insure your life because the Lord often renews the strength and life of those who seek him. I see this becoming your testimony, too as you seek him sincerely (Ps.84v7; Amos 5v4, 6).
5. You will experience his Amazing Wonders. Yes, this is another reward of those who seek him with all their heart (Job 5v8-9). This is so because as you seek the Lord genuinely, you will begin to Encounter him in ways beyond your imagination and also in ways you have never known him. In a nutshell, you and your life won’t be the same again.
As you can see from the things I shared with you today that you stand to benefit a lot when you put the blesser before the blessings. So if I were you, I would major in seeking first and always so that the benefits of Seeking God can accompany my life. So, may today usher you into a new dimension in your seeking of God.

Prayer for Today: Lord, help me to always put you first in my life in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: I put priority on the seeker and not on things. I seek his face first and not what is in his hands. My focus and heart are on seeking him first. As I seek him in this manner, I believe my life shall reflect his glory and blessings in Jesus name, amen.
