The Secrets of Answered Prayer 2

Matthew 7v7-8 ‘V7-Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: V8-For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.’

Dearly Beloved, nothing just happens but things are made to happen. If you will receive answers to your prayers, then you need to be familiar with the things that guarantee answers to your prayers. So what are the secrets to receiving? They are as follows:

1. Praying according to his will. This is one of the most potent keys to answering your prayers. God does not answer prayers according to the will or caprices of men. But according to his own will. 1Jn5v14-15:3v22.
My dear reader, so what does it mean to pray according to God’s will? It means to:

-Pray according to the word of God. The word of God is the Will of God. Isa34v16: Jn5v39

-To pray according to the plan or Purpose of God for your life. Jer1v4-5. This is what it means essentially to pray according to his Will. So, my dear brothers and sisters, it’s important for you to understand what the will of the Lord is before you pray because this is one of the reasons people fail in the place of prayer. Eph5v17

So how can you know what the will of God is? You can know by:
-Searching the scriptures. Since the word of God is the will of God. As you search the scriptures, his will shall be made known unto you. if you believe this, say a Big AMEN. 2Tim3v16-17
-Search your heart. You can search your heart by asking yourself if whatever you are seeking is in line with God’s will for your life. This is a good place to start as you ascertain God’s will for your life. As you do so, you will discover his will and mandate for your life. Are you willing to do so? 2Pet3v9
