2Cor.4v8-10: We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. Always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

God did not promise us a life of ease but a life of triumph and victory! However, victory is impossible without challenges, and you don’t become a champion without facing challenges. Champions are made in the rings of life’s challenges! (2Cor.2v14). This is why it’s important to have the right kind of mentality towards whatever form of challenges you might face spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, financially, or even relationally. This is the message that the Great Apostle Paul passed across in (2Cor.4v8-10). He chose to respond in the right ways towards his challenges of life. If he could do this, you too can demonstrate such kind of attitude amid life’s troubles.
Basically, when it comes to the challenges of life, you can either respond:
Positively (i.e. Right Mentality).
Or negatively (i.e. Negative Mentality).
So how have you been responding to your current challenges? It’s my belief and prayer that through this series of messages, God will be putting into your hands the right kind of tools for dealing with the challenges of life.
My dear reader, before we begin to look at how to respond positively to the challenges of life, there are some fundamental truths you need to know about life’s challenges. What are these basic truths?

BASIC TRUTHS ABOUT CHALLENGES:
1. Life is full of challenges. So there is nowhere you run or go to that there would not be one form of challenges or the other (Jn.16v33).

2. The higher you go in life, the greater the challenges and vice-versa also. So the greater your placement in life, the greater the challenges also (Acts 9v15-16).

3. The greater your destiny, the greater your challenges too. A clear example is the birth and upbringing of Moses; Satan wanted to kill him before his time. Thank God for the courage and wisdom of his mother. Satan always fights a great destiny (Lk.22v31-32).

4. You will face greater challenges because you are a Believer. This should not come as a surprise to you because you are in the Kingdom of God or light and Satan is actively fighting against God’s Kingdom (2Tim.3v12).

5. Challenges are opportunities for promotion. In fact, a challenge is a blessing in disguise. Those who successfully pass through a challenge will be promoted (Dan.1v17-20: 2v48).

Dearly beloved, those are just some of the basic truths you need to know about challenges that will help you positively. Nevertheless, I want you to know that there is no challenge that is greater than Christ. So cheer up and be of good courage. You are destined to win over any challenge provided you have the right kind of mentality. So it’s time to say no to every negative mentality and say yes to the right kind of mentality henceforth in Jesus name, amen.
