The Remedies To All Your Fears 8

(Psalm 34:4: I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears)

I hope you are enjoying this series of lessons on the remedies to all of your fears. I have established that God has the remedies to all of your fears, not some of your fears and so far we have looked at six of those remedies. Today’s lesson will be focused on the seventh remedy. What is this remedy? It is the remedy of:

vii) Walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. Yes, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit will give you victory over your fears. I want you to notice that the emphasis is on walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is one thing to have the Holy Spirit but it’s another thing to walk in His power. Many children of God just have the Holy Spirit without walking in His power. It’s time to activate the power of the Holy Spirit in you (Ephesians 5:18). How does walking in the power of the Holy Spirit help you to defeat your fears? It does so by stirring up and instilling courage and confidence in you. However, this should not come as a surprise to you since the Spirit of God is the spirit of power, love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

My dear reader, how can you operate in the power of the Holy Spirit? What does it take to walk in His power? It takes:

• Praying in the Holy Spirit. This is also known as praying in tongues. You receive the ability to speak in tongues when you get baptized in the Holy Spirit. How often do you exercise yourself in this dimension? Praying in tongues ought to be a part of your daily walk if you must walk in His power. Therefore, you need to begin to stir up yourself in the power of the Holy Spirit. I can confidently say as you commit yourself to praying like this, His boldness and courage will be stirred up within you (Judges 1:20).
• Yielding to the anointing within you. When you learn to follow the dictates of the anointing, you will be empowered and embolden in your daily walk.  The Holy Spirit is not just a gift but your Guide throughout life. As you learn to yield to the promptings of His anointing, you will begin to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit which will ultimately change you into a different person entirely! (Romans 8:14).

Precious child of God, I believe you can see the blessedness of walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. May His power in you never be dormant or passive. May His power begin to rise up mightily in you to defeat every stronghold of fear in Jesus name, name.

2. You walk in His power by:
   Praying in the spirit
   Yielding to the anointing within you

Prayer for Today: Father, I thank you for the reservoir of your power that dwells within me. Help me blessed Comforter to operate in the fullness of this power to the glory of your name in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: Glory be to God for I have an unfailing remedy to all my fears and anxieties. The remedy to all my fears is in my God and since God is my father, my days of living in bondage to fear are over forever. The tide is changing for me because I now walk in victory over all my fears. I walk in dominion over every form of fear and insecurity. Therefore, I walk at liberty for his power works mightily in and through me. Praise God the snare is broken, as I now walk in mastery over all my fears.
