(Psalm 34:4: I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.)
Is there really a remedy to all of our fears? The answer is YES. There are remedies to whatsoever form of fear you may be dealing with. Whether it be secret, internal, or external fears et cetera. there is certainly a way of gaining victory over all your fears. This is the focus of our discussion in this series of lessons. By the way, what is a remedy?
- It is a successful way of dealing with a problem
- It could also be a medicine, application, or treatment that relieves or cures a disease.
What I am saying, in a nutshell, is that a remedy is a solution or answer to a problem. I want you to know that in God, there are remedies to all your fears. This is clearly revealed from the testimony of David in Psalm 34:4 which reads, “As he sought the Lord, God gave him deliverance from all his fears.” He wants to do the same for you too because he is not a respecter of persons but a respecter of faith. You will certainly overcome all your fears too if you are willing to apply the remedies that God offers (Romans 10:12-13).
So what is peculiar about the remedies that Jehovah gives?
- These remedies have been well tested and proven to be reliable. The remedies will not fail or disappoint; so you can be rest assured that your expectations will not be cut off. Since it has worked for others and it’s still working today, it will also work for you as you apply them. Glory be to God; I have this assurance that these remedies won’t fail you. So, rejoice for your liberation has come! (Proverbs 30:5).
- These remedies will work if you work it. This simply means you have a part to play in overcoming your fears. Are you ready to play your role? Nothing just happens! To gain victory over your fears you must be ready to do your part. My dear reader, God is too faithful not to do his part, so you too need to make up your mind today that you won’t fail to do your part. I guarantee you that your story will change for the better as you do this (Amos 3:3).

- These remedies work when you do your part.

Prayer for Today: Father, I thank you for having solutions to all of my fears. I believe and receive victory over all my fears by faith. I declare, in Jesus’ name, that I walk in dominion over all my fears. Therefore, I stop serving my fears henceforth.
CONFESSION: I embrace the solutions and answers that my God has provided for all my fears. Therefore, I refuse to be a slave to my fears because total victory is available in Christ Jesus. My story is changing for the better as I apply the remedies that never fails nor disappoints. It’s a new day for me because I am dominating my fears. I am no longer a victim but a victor. Glory be to God; I dominate and walk in authority over all my fears henceforth. This is my testimony and reality in Jesus name. Amen.
