Proverbs 26verse2 ‘As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.’

I am super excited about this series of teachings on why some of our prayers are not answered. I hope you are getting blessed too because these nuggets have the power to change our lives if we receive them with the whole of our hearts. 1Thess2v13. I also believe that a new day and experience has come in your prayer life. No longer will you pray without knowing the joy of answered prayers after going through these series in Jesus name amen. So once again let us look at another reason for unanswered prayers.

REASONS FOR UNANSWERED PRAYERS:

9. Because of not knowing how to wait for the answer.

It is important for you to know how to receive the answer to your prayers or wait for the answers to your prayers. From experience, I can tell you that not all prayers are answered in the same way. Some prayers are answered immediately while some take time. Now I know that there are certain reasons why this is so but that is not our focus today, maybe we will look at it some other time. However, just know that not all prayers are answered in the same way.

Essentially speaking you need to know the following:

1. When you pray, you receive a faith answer. Mk11v24
2. When the physical manifestation comes you receive a fact answer. Usually in between the time you pray and receive the physical manifestation, there is a gap. This is where you need to apply patience. Jam1v4.

Our problem majorly is with waiting for the answer we prayed for. We give up too soon. We are too much in a hurry. This is why some prayers are not answered. So, my dear friends, you must learn to wait for the answer you seek. Jb14v14; Ps130v5.

So how do you wait for the answer or what do you do before the answer arrives?
I believe that the following steps can be of great help:

-You keep thanking God for the answer. Philip4v6-7. This is how you keep the switch of faith on. So never allow his praise to diminish from your mouth. Corl4v2

-You keep meditating on his promises that guarantee your answers.Pro4v20-22

-You act on any instruction he gives you. In other words, you wait for his instructions. Rom8v16. These are some of the essential steps that you need to take if you will successfully wait for the answer you seek.

So are you willing to wait and how long are you willing to wait?

Prayer for Today: Holy Spirit, help me to wait for the answer that I seek from the Lord in Jesus name amen.

CONFESSION: I will wait for the answer that I seek from the Lord in the place of prayer. I will wait until I see his goodness in the land of the living. I will wait and my waiting will not be in vain. As I wait on his word, my expectations will not be cut off in Jesus name amen.
