Habakkuk 3verse17-19‘V17-Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: V18-Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. V19-The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.’

Is it possible to rejoice in the midst of trouble? The answer is a definite Yes. Although, in the natural, if someone is rejoicing in the midst of adversity, we often think something is wrong with that person. But from our text scripture (Habakkuk 3verse17-19), it’s clear that rejoicing in the midst of trouble is possible. If the prophet could do it, it means it’s doable. Mk9v23.
So what is the motivation for rejoicing in the midst of trouble? Why rejoice whenever challenges come our way? These are the things that we will be focusing on in this lesson today. So without much ado, let’s examine these reasons right away.

1. Because the word of God says so. Evidence abounds in scriptures which shows that we ought to rejoice in the midst of trouble.This is what we see all over the place in the word of God. Jam1v2:1Thess5v16,18
Why does God want you to rejoice whenever trouble comes? Obviously, it’s because God knows something about rejoicing in such situations and what it can do for you. So my dear reader, if I were you, I would rejoice.Isa55v8-9.My dearly beloved ones, you also need to know that your joy is an important part of your victory.This is why Satan is after your joy: give him no place. Eph4v27

2. Because it will make a way for you where there seems to be no way. This is one of the important reasons why you need to rejoice in the midst of trouble because your rejoicing is working for you. In fact, it’s working for your good. Acts 16v25. Whenever you choose to obey God’s word, you invariably activate God’s supernatural laws. So it’s time for you to use this powerful spiritual warfare weapon to your advantage. So, therefore, my dear reader, I want you to know that rejoicing in the midst of trouble is working out something beyond what you can see, feel, ear, touch or smell. As you begin to put this principle to work in your life, I see God opening doors that no man can open or shut and I see him also shut doors that no man can open or shut for you. If you are receiving this, say a Big AMEN. So I welcome you into a new dimension of victoriously living beginning from today in Jesus name, amen.
