Luke 1verse45 ‘And blesses is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.’
There is power in the Word of God. Heb4v12. And this power is meant to work in your favor and life. The power is not for decoration or fun but to accomplish certain works and purposes in your life. But if this power will be a reality, you need to believe in God’s Word. This is what I have been sharing with you in this series of teachings and today I will continue to share with you some other benefits of believing his Word! So why is believing the Word so important?
4. Believing activates the power in the Word. Yes there is power in the Word of God but what makes this power to work is your belief. So without believing, the Word of God can’t profit you. This is what you see in action in our text scripture (Luke1v45) because Elizabeth believed she was able to activate the power in that promise. In the same vein, it’s your belief that activates the power in God’s Word. So choose to be a believer and not a doubter.
5. Believing opens the door of answered prayers. Yes, if you want your prayers answered, you need to be a believer and not a doubter. Matt21v22. God still answers prayers. He has not changed! He is still the same and he wants to give you the joy of answered prayers but you have to do things his way by believing in his Word. This is how the system or kingdom works! So why don’t start believing from today?
6. Believing is what causes his Word to prosper in our lives. Without you believing his Word, his Word cannot prosper in your endeavors. 2Chro20v20. This is why it’s so crucial to believe his Word because your level of fruitfulness depends on it. Isa55v11.
So my admonition to you is to be a believer, not a doubter. Choose to be a believing believer and not an unbelieving believer! As you make this switch today, I guarantee that his Word will begin to walk wonders in your life!
