Deut.8v18: And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

If there is one area of our lives that we need empowerment in, it is in the area of our finances. Yes, the Almighty God wants to empower you financially speaking. This is why he gives you the power (i.e. leverage, ability, insights, means, et cetera.) to get wealth, as you can see in (Deut.8v18). I have so far, in this series of teachings, shared with you seven reasons why you need economic empowerment in your life. Today by his grace, I will be sharing three more reasons with you. So off we go!

REASONS FOR ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT:

1. So that you won’t be a burden unto others but instead a blessing indeed. This is one of the major reasons for economic empowerment. It’s better to be a blessing than to be a burden. When you are economically empowered, you are in a better position of helping and assisting others. But I believe you know you can’t help others beyond the level to which you have helped yourself. This is why you need to be empowered financially. God wants you to be on the giving end and not just the receiving end all the time. I see you making the switch from today. I see you moving from the realm of being helped all the time to helping others that are around you as you begin to prosper economically. If you believe this, say a Big Amen now! (Gen.12v4: 18v18)
2. Because you will need money regardless of whosoever, you may be. For as long as you live on the earth, you will need money. This is true regardless of whether you are spiritual, carnal or natural. This is why you need economic empowerment in your life. As a matter of fact, the more economically empowered you become, the easier for you to get or make money. So my dear brothers and sisters, I believe you can obviously see the reason why you need to take your economic empowerment more seriously (Matt.17v24-27).
3. Because not everybody understands how money works. There is a way and manner money works. This wisdom will only be made available to you as you become economical empowered. Money is not biased against anybody. It only obeys those who know how to attract, manage and keep it. This is why you need financial intelligence. And the more you understand how money works, the easier for you to get and multiply money. Money is not difficult to get if you know what to do. I pray for you from today as you begin to pay attention to economic empowerment, money will begin to work for you and not against you in Jesus name, amen (Jn.8v32).

As I cooperate with God and his spirit, I am being empowered in all my ways. The anointing to make, manage and multiply money is on my life and I will maximise this grace to the best of my ability in Jesus name, amen.
