Pro.11v30: The fruit of the righteousness is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.

Part of God’s mandate upon his church is to be a Witnessing church. We, therefore, ought to be a witnessing group of believers. A witness is somebody who can testify to what they have seen, know and experience. There’s no doubt about the fact that we have experienced the goodness, mercies, and love of God in our lives. This is why these ought to be evident in our life. We ought to be testifiers of his grace and mercies to our dying World. This is why we ought to rise up to the challenge of winning souls and for some time now, I have been sharing with you some major reasons why you need to be involved in the business of Winning Souls. Today by his grace, we will proceed further in our study by looking at some other major reasons why you need to be diligent in the business of Winning Souls.

REASONS FOR BEING A SOUL WINNER:

1. Because the time is short. Yes, we are living in the last of days. Why do I say this? Because the great Apostle Paul makes mention of the fact that the last days are upon us. If it was the last days in their time, then we are in the last of those days. This is why the kingdom of hell has unleashed its cohorts and agents upon our world today! Satan evidently knows that his time is short, so he wants to do everything within his power to take as many people as he can with him to a lost eternity. This is why you need to take seriously the mandate of winning souls. We don’t have all the time in the world. Many believers are currently sleeping. It’s time to wake up & be an active participant in the harvest of souls into God’s kingdom (2Tim.3v1; 2Pet.3v3-5). Are you ready to play your role in this great assignment?
2. Because it’s our duty to do so. Angels are not going to preach the gospel. They are not even meant to do so. It’s our responsibility and calling to do so as a believer. Our primary assignment as believers is soul winning. Never forget this! This is one of the cardinal reasons why you need to be committed to the business of winning souls. I pray that God will find you faithful (1Cor.9v16).
3. Because it’s one of the weapons of your warfare. The believer has an arsenal of weapons at his disposal. You have been well equipped by God. One of such weapons is soul winning. When you look at the checklist of the weapons of the believer in (Eph.6v12 -18), you will see it also includes soul winning or the gospel. As you can see in verse 15, God wants your feet to be shod with preparing the gospel of peace! You ought to be his ambassador of Good news! So by being a soul winner, God fights your battles. Wow, think about this one minute. One way you give God permission to fight your battles is by winning souls. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to take the business of winning souls seriously because soul winning is one of the weapons of your warfare! You will agree with me that life itself is warfare, so why don’t you allow the one who can handle any battle to be your warrior and general? The ball is in your court. I believe you will make the right choice today (2Cor.10v3-5).

My dear reader, I am persuaded that you can now see reasons you need to be busy with the mandate of heaven with regards to winning souls! Therefore, I pray that today will mark the turning point in your pursuit of winning souls!

CONFESSION: Lord, I rise up from my slumber of not winning souls from today. I rebelled against every spirit of lukewarmness and laziness with regards to Winning Souls. I  receive a fresh baptism of fire to win souls for you all the days of my life as I commit myself to this clarion call. My life and work is changing for the better. I am a living witness of Jesus to my World and generation and in the name of Jesus, I will not disappoint heaven because the mandate of heaven shall be accomplished through my hands in Jesus name.
