Proverbs 5verse 15: ‘Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.’
You are welcome back to our discussion on this exciting series on marriage faithfulness. There is such a need for this message today in our world. I want you to know that being sexually faithful is not old-fashioned, but it is God’s will and pattern for marriage. This is why I believe that this series of teachings will be a great blessing to you. So why the need for sexual faithfulness? I continued where we stopped in our last lesson.
WHY SEXUAL FAITHFULNESS:
8. Being faithful has a positive effect on your character. Yes, character is important and it starts with how you live your private life and it will also give you moral authority. Messing up your private life has the potential of also messing up everything. So you need to be careful and on your guard. 1Pet5v8; 2Cor2v11.
9. Because being faithful is God’s will and plan for you. He expects you to be faithful to your spouse and in fact, he wants you to remain faithful to each other. Mal2v14-16.
10. According to research and studies, faithful people are happier, more relaxed, and more fulfilled than those who are not faithful. They even smile more and their assurance is clear living a life that is not empty, stressful, and complicated.
11. Being faithful breaks the good that you have and hurts the person (i.e., your spouse) and family, too. Pro6v27-29.
12. Being faithful builds trust in the relationship. It makes your partner trust you and with trust, they surrender themselves to you, giving you their all. Without trust, you will never be able to receive all the blessings your partner brings. Pro5v18-20.
13. Being faithful makes others respect you. This is true because as you stand your ground and tell off those who are trying to tempt you from your partner, you publicly show loyalty to your spouse. Pro28v20.
Wow, what an eye-opening encounter we had in today’s lesson. If you have been blessed, kindly indicate in the comments section, and see you tomorrow for the continuation of this series.

Prayer for Today: Lord, I receive grace to be a doer of this truth and not just a hearer in Jesus’ name amen.
CONFESSION: Holy Spirit, send me help in the areas where I am fainting and weak! I receive your help in saying no to the temptation of the enemy! I choose to be faithful to my partner. This is my resolution and vow in Jesus’ name, amen.
