1Thessalonians5verse18 ‘In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.’
Dearly beloved, we cannot over emphasize the importance of prayer. This is why God admonishes you to pray without ceasing! In order words, he wants you to be consistent in the place of prayer! I can tell from personal experience that people faint or fall in the place of prayer. But this ought not to be so because God wants you to be strong and dynamic in your prayer life. He is counting on your prayer life in order to be able to accomplish his purposes and will. This is why you need to have a different mentality towards prayer generally! I pray that through this series of teachings, you will be greatly transformed in Jesus name amen. So once again, why is prayer that important? This is what I have been sharing with you for some time now and today, by his grace, I will sharing with you more reasons why you need to take praying seriously. So let’s examine these reasons without wasting time!
WHY PRAYER IS IMPORTANT?
10. Because prayer edifies you. Prayer strengthens and renews you. It builds up your spirit man and also refreshes your soul! In fact, prayer refreshes your life. This is why prayer should be an integral part of your life as a believer. Life is a battle and you need all the strength to fight that battle! This is why you need to up your game in the school of prayer. Are you ready to do that? Jud1v20
11. Because prayer will change your life forever. This is a statement of fact and truth. It is something that I can testify to. I have been a partaker of this myself and I know you too won’t be an exemption as you embrace the culture of prayer. Lk9v28-29. Prayer changes the course of history. It also changes lives and destinies! This is what you see in manifestation on the mountain of transfiguration as Jesus prayed. I am praying that prayer will change you and your life forever from henceforth in Jesus name, amen.
12. Because prayer will keep you in the way of righteousness. It will keep you in the straight and narrow path. It will not allow you to go astray or wander away. This is the kind of effect and power that prayer has on people and things generally. You may even preach and go to hell but it’s hard to pray regularly and go to hell. Therefore prayer has a sanctifying effect on a person! This is the more reason why you need to take your prayer life seriously! May the Holy Spirit touch your prayer life in a remarkable way today in Jesus name, amen. 1Tim4v5
