The Importance of Prayer 3

1Thessalonians5verse17 ‘Pray without ceasing.’

You are welcome back to our discussion on the importance or necessity of prayer. Prayer ought to be part and parcel of your life. God is obviously looking for men and women who will stand in the gap. Isa62v6-7; Eze22v30. So my dear brothers and sisters, how important is prayer to you? It’s not difficult to know whether prayer is something that you take seriously or not. As Jesus said, you can know a tree by the kind of fruits it bears! So also can you know a believer who places priority on prayer! So what other parameters show how important prayer is to you?

3. How often do you pray before making important decisions in your life? Do you pray before making such decisions or do you do as you wish? The answer you give to this question will tell us where you stand. But honestly, on a serious note, you know someone values prayer by involving prayer in their decision-making process! So my dear reader, how much prayer consideration do you put in your planning and your ways? It’s time for you to follow the example of David and the other men of like passion, so as to enter into the fullness of your destiny. If you are keying into this can I hear a resounding amen? Lk6v12-16.

4. What kind of emphasis do you put on prayers? Do you see prayer as a necessity or one of those things? Do you see prayer as a principal or secondary thing? The answers you give to these questions will determine where you stand. Pro4v7. So my admonition to you today is to start putting a premium on prayer! Start taking your prayer life seriously! Start investing in your prayer life! I guarantee you that it’s an investment that you won’t regret making in Jesus name, amen! If you are ready to do this, can I hear a thunderous amen?
