Isaiah 34verse16 ‘Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.’
Dearly beloved, there are benefits to be derived from reading God’s Word and these benefits will make your life better for it. This is why you need to have a reading culture and plan for the Word of God. God’s Word can do a whole lot more for us if we give adequate attention to it. In our last lesson I shared some of the things that you stand to gain from reading the Word of God. Today by his grace, I will proceed further by sharing more of those benefits. So here we go!
It helps you to know what is true. Jn15v15
It will fill you with hope.your
It will equip you to live for God.
You will learn God’s Truths.Jn8v32
It will safeguard you against false teaching. 1Tim4v16
It will strengthen your fellowship with God. I Jn1v1
It helps you to grow spiritually.1Pet2v2
It will help you to hear from God. God often speaks through his Word.Heb1v1
It enables you to combat Satan.2Cor2v11
The Word is a life giver and sustainer. The Word creates and sustains life. Jn6v63
My dear reader I want you to pay close attention to these timeless blessings because it has the potential to change your life forever. This is why I will encourage you to make the Word of God a regular part of your life and operations! Things will never be the same again as you do so.
