The Basics of Faith 8

Hebrews 11verse1,6 ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. V6-But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.’

You are welcome powerfully to our discourse on the subject of faith. I believe that you have been blessed so far by this series of teachings on the basics of faith. Faith is such a crucial requirement when it comes to walking with God and also fulfilling our colorful destiny. The simple and necessary things about faith that I have been sharing with you are the foundation for a successful life of faith, and today, by His grace, I will be rounding our discussion at least for now. The subject of faith is something that we can never exhaust but something that we will keep talking about. So what are the other insights about faith that you need to know as a believer?

11. Meditating in God’s word builds a stronger capacity for faith. This is an important truth that you need to know if your faith will deliver the kind of results that God said it would deliver. Meditating in God’s word is a way of ruminating on God’s word until it takes hold of your spirit man. It’s a means of internalizing the word of God. It’s also a means of thinking and speaking God’s word. This is a practice that you must inculcate into your life if you want your faith to grow and be strong. Ps119v48,97.

My dearly beloved ones, this is one of the secrets of the great men and women of faith. And it’s time for you to start living this way so that you can have the kind of results that they had Ps1v1-3. May today usher you into that dimension of life in Jesus name, amen.

12. Thanksgiving is the voice of faith. This is why you need to know how to give thanks to God after you might have prayed. You need to mix thanksgiving with your faith if it will work for you. Thanksgiving plays a major role in the manifestation of your heart’s desire after you might have released your faith. Infact thanksgiving is the language of faith and it’s the voice of miracles. Those who know how to thank God will never lack miracles in their lives. So, my dear reader, this is one of the fundamental principles of faith that you need to master if your faith will work for you. Philip4v6-7. You need to learn how to rejoice in God and his word before the physical manifestation of your heart desires. Learning this principle will serve you well in your journey of faith. As you imbibe this practice into your operations, your faith walk will get better. Col4v2.
