Hebrews 11verse1,6 ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. V6-But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.’

The life of faith is what God has called every believer into, but to successfully live this life, you must understand the basics of faith. This has been our discussion for some time now and today, I will proceed by sharing with you other basic truths that you need to know about your faith in order for you not to be put to shame. So what are these BASICS OF FAITH?

7. Faith is released by Words. This simply means that your faith works via your words. Faith that is not released by words is not exercised. So you need to know how to release your faith through your words. You see this principle at work with God during the creation of the universe (Gen1v3,6,9,11,14,20,24&26). Your words are your faith in manifestation or motion. Your words reveal your faith. This is why you can locate people via their words. So my dear reader, if you really want your faith to work, you must learn to speak it out. Faith that is not spoken is faith that won’t be activated. Always remember that the voice of faith is the voice of victory. So don’t be quiet about your faith. Learn to speak it out. By doing so, you will be giving life to your faith. Mk11v23: Matt8v8

8. Your faith will never rise above your confession. This is another important truth about faith that you must understand. The stronger your confession, the stronger your faith and the weaker your confession, the weaker your faith. This is true because faith grows in and out of your confession. Rom10v9-10. When we speak about confession, what do we mean? We are talking about the confession of God’s Promises as per your position, provisions, possessions, potential and personality in Christ. When you talk from this understanding, it helps and empowers your faith walk. So it’s time for you to start using your mouth productively and properly. Stop speaking about defeat and failure. Start talking about your victory and possibilities in Christ. As you do this, your faith will rise to a higher level of authority and influence. If you are receiving this, say a big AMEN. Heb4v14: Pro13v2

Prayer for Today: Father God, thank you for rekindling the spirit of faith within me in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: My faith grows by my confession. Therefore, I choose to pay attention to my words. I stop speaking to anyone. I choose my words carefully and wisely. I speak what I want. I speak my heart desires. I speak faith, not doubt. I speak according to his word. Therefore, my faith life is working mightily for me! Hallelujah!
