Hebrews 11verse1,6 ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. V6-But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.’
I trust that you are enjoying this series of lessons on the basics of faith and I also believe that your faith-life is receiving a booster and a lifting also in Jesus name, amen. We have been looking at some of the important things you need to know about faith and in today’s lesson, I will share more insights with you on this subject matter. So if you are ready, here we go!
3. Your faith can either be strong or weak; it just depends on what you do with it. This means that your faith can either be active or passive, growing or diminishing, depending on what you do with it. So this means that the responsibility of your faith lies on you, not God, per se. This is why you need to feed and use your faith regularly if it will work. In fact, the more you feed and use your faith, the more it grows and vice versa also. So, my dear reader, it’s time to take responsibility for the growth of your faith. Stop blaming God or others or even your environment. The ball is in your court. So will you start feeding and using your faith from today? Lk17v5-6: Rom4v19-20
4. You must pay attention to what you are hearing if your faith will work for you. My dear reader, what you hear can either help or hurt your faith or even corrupt or strengthen your faith. Mk5v22-25,35-41.
So what are you listening to? Is it helping or hurting your faith? I have never seen any great man or woman of faith who didn’t protect their faith life. So my dear brothers and sisters, insulate yourself from every negative word because what you hear affects what you see, say, and act. As a general rule, always surround yourself with things that can build or help your faith. Philip4v8: Ps112v7
My dearly beloved ones, I believe that these powerful truths about your faith will revolutionize your life for good in Jesus name, amen. So, it’s time to pit them to work.

Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, thank you for illuminating my faith life with the light of your word.
CONFESSION: Glory be to God because of the truth of his word; my faith walk is going to another level. I receive strength and grace to walk the faith life. My days of being defeated are over. My days of victory are here. Through the power of his word, I am a victor and more than a conqueror in Jesus name, amen.
