Proverbs24verse10: ‘If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.’
Dearly beloved, as you can see from this scripture, it takes strength to run the race of life effectively. The reason many fall or faint along the way is their lack of strength. This is why it’s imperative for you and I to build strength or fortify ourselves with strength for the journey. Regardless of where you want to go, what you want to accomplish and who you want to become, you need strength for the Journey. So why exactly do you need strength? I would like us to examine some more reasons. Here we go!
7. So that you will last in the race. The journey is far this is why you need strength for the entire journey. It takes stamina to endure this race, so it’s time for you to build up your stamina. 1Ki19v7.
8. So as to successfully handle the contentions and challenges you will meet on the way. There are challenges to anywhere worth going in life. This is why it is advisable for you to fortify yourself for the journey. Pro24v10.
9. So that you won’t faint in the way. My dear reader, you need strength if you won’t chicken out or give up easily. Isa40v30. This is why you need to spend your time building up your capacity.
10. So that you won’t Fail. Proper preparation will prevent poor performance, while poor preparation will promote poor performance. So how prepared are you for the journey of this year? Luk14v28-30.
11. Because there is a limit to human strength. This is why you need his strength i.e. wisdom, help, ability and counsel, if you will run the race of life very well. My dear friends, nothing compares to the strength that Jehovah gives. Trust me his strength will carry you far than what you can imagine. So my advice to you is not to go through life without His input. Go for his strength and as you do this, you will travel with ease throughout the year and come up on top. 1Sam2v9; Ps60v11-12.

Prayer for Today: Lord, empower me to run the race of this year in your strength in Jesus name amen.
CONFESSION: I do not travel by my strength alone. I also operate by his wisdom, ability, help and counsel. Therefore, I can accomplish more and get more out of the year. Because Jehovah is my strength, I travel better and faster this year. Glory be to God, fo
