Philippians 4verse6-7 ‘Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God V7-And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We live in a world that is full of so many cares, worries and anxieties, but apparently, our heavenly Father has a different plan and agenda for our lives. As you can see from our text scripture (Philippians 4v6-7), he wants you to be without worrying. This is one of the reasons why he is sending this admonition to you. In fact, if you take a look at this passage of scripture in some other translations, you will understand what I am talking about better. Let’s look at some of these translations:

-Don’t worry about anything… Goodnews Translation
-Do not be anxious about anything… New International Version

My dearly beloved ones, this is how God wants you to live i.e.to live a life free of worry. I know from the natural standpoint that we worry a lot as human beings. This is why God wants you to stop worrying. The tendency is for you to think that God has sent this message (i.e.,, not worrying) to the wrong people, but God never makes any mistake. How do I know this? Because God would never ask you to do what you cannot do. So if he says you ought to stop worrying, then it means you can. My dear friends, it’s possible to live a carefree kind of life. For every calling, there is an equipping; for every vision, there is a provision. This simply means that his grace is more than sufficient for you in this matter. 1Pet5v10: 1Tim1v15
Dearly beloved, the bottom line is that God wants you to be without worrying or care! This is why he is issuing this command to you and I. It’s God’s will for you. And as a loving and caring heavenly Father, who wants the best for his children, you need to know also that he has your best interest at heart. Matt6v25
So how can you solve the problem of worrying? It’s by focusing your heart and mind on what God says in our text scripture (Philippians 4v6-7). How can you do this? Instead of worrying, you need to:
-Start Trusting God. Ps125v1
-Start Praying. Philip4v6
-Start Praising God. Rom4v20
As you start practicing these principles as a lifestyle, you will enter into a new bliss of peace and fulfillment in Jesus name, amen. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to say no to worry!
