Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

You are welcome back to our discourse on Relational Success. I believe that the principles I have shared with you so far is helping you in your relationship with others. Your ability to relate with all kinds of people is crucial to success in other areas of your life. This is why you need to pay adequate attention to it. I believe that as you imbibe these principles, your relational life will get better and better in Jesus name, amen. Today by his grace, I will be sharing with you more principles that can help you become a relational success. So without much ado, let’s examine these key points right now.

ACHIEVING RELATIONAL SUCCESS:

5. Know the people he has sent you to or the people that have been sent to you.

Whichever way your understanding of this key principle will determine whether you will be a relational success. Do you know that God has not sent you to everyone? This important truth will set you free if you understand it. Although everybody has not been sent to you, some people have been sent to you on what he has sent you to. Knowing this truth will help you not to dissipate your energies unnecessarily so as to focus on your area of assignment. This understanding will also help you to succeed in your relationship with others. The big question to ask yourself is, who are the people that he has sent me to or has been sent into my life? The more you know these people and their purpose, the greater your chances of succeeding in your relationships. It’s time for you to know this kind of people and one way you get to know these people is by your calling, passion, or giftedness. Pro27v8. As you start paying attention to this important truth, may your relationship life get stronger and stronger in Jesus name.

6. Learn to be Patient and Tolerant with People.

This is an important ingredient for succeeding in any relationship. Most of the time, we are too much in a hurry, or we don’t give the other person the benefit of the doubt, thus coming to a hasty conclusion. But this ought not to be if you really want to be successful in your dealings with people. Without tolerance and patience, it will be impossible to succeed in your walk with others. One thing you need to realize is that because people differ, you must develop a strong tolerance level with people. As a general rule, if you want to succeed in your relationship with others, you need to avoid being:

-Hasty Pro19v2

-Temperamental I.e. Hot – tempered Eccle7v9

-Aggressive towards people

-Possessive in nature.

-Manipulative or cunning

-Domineering or controlling in nature

-Judgmental or critical

-Irrational or hostile towards People.

This kind of manifestation has a tendency of destroying and stifling the life out of any relationship. Dear brothers and sisters, one thing that can help you become patient and tolerant with people is to sincerely love people. If you walk in the love of God towards people, it will greatly help in dealing better with them. So, as much as lies within you, start exercising the power of tolerance and patience in your life from today. Doing this will take your relationship with others to another level. Lk21v19.

May these series of lessons impact greatly on your life. If you receive this, say a big AMEN.
