Habakkuk 3verse17-19‘V17-Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: V18-Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. V19-The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.’
Dearly Beloved, God wants you to be joyful in the midst of crisis or trouble. This is the message the Prophet Habakkuk is trying to pass across to us through this text. When everything around us is not working, that is not the time to give up but the time to put on our dancing shoes. I know this does not make sense in the natural but trust me, it will produce signs in the physical if you can only obey God. So how can I be joyful in the midst of adversity? You can be Joyful by:
1. Keeping your eyes on Jesus. This is one of the major keys to being joyful in the middle of challenges. Heb12v2: Ps25v15.So how do you look unto Jesus? One of the cheapest ways of doing this is by looking at his word. You cannot separate Jesus and his word. They are actually the same thing. So it’s time for you to start looking up unto Jesus via his word. As you do so in faith, you will notice that his Joy will be produced and released into your life. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to start Looking unto Jesus! Jer15v16:Ps119v111
2. Choosing to Rejoice in the Lord regardless of the conditions of life. One of the secrets of being joyful in trouble is to decide as a matter of principle that you will be joyful regardless of what life throws at you. My dear reader, is this your determination? Have you made up your mind to rejoice like this? The decisions that you make today in this regard will greatly determine your Destiny.Ps34v1-3.So make up your mind to be happy and not sad; make a quality decision today that you will rejoice in the lord regardless of the circumstances of life and more importantly, I want you to commit yourself to this decision. As you do this, I see miracles, signs and wonders becoming a common occurrence in your life! If you are receiving this, say a resounding Amen.
