Reasons Why You Should Be Thankful 3

Psalm 92verse1-3 ‘V1-It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: V2-To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, V3-Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.’

Dearly beloved, I hope you know that there is usually a motivation behind whatever someone does or is doing. In the same vein, there are causes, justifications or an explanation as to why we need to be thankful. And so far I have shared 6 of those reasons with you. Today by his grace, I will proceed further by looking at 3 more reasons why you should be thankful! I believe that you are ready for this, so off we go!
REASONS TO BE THANKFUL:

7. Because being thankful is a good thing. As you can see, this is evident from our text scripture (Psalm 92verse1)! Giving thanks to God is a good or prosperous thing. So I would rather be involved in a good thing than a bad thing. So the next time, you are thanking God just know that you are doing something good or prosperous! Giving thanks to God is prosperity, so those who give thanks to God will be prosperous. Ps147v1

8. Because God is good. This is another important reason why you need to be thankful! God is a good God. Goodness is his nature and character! This is why you need to be grateful. Praise God! God is not a Man! Ps106v1:107v1

9. Because being thankful will do you a whole lot of good. My dear brothers and sisters, being grateful is much better than being ungrateful. Gratitude is better than grumbling. In case you are still wondering why? Check out the following benefits of gratitude:
I. It is medicinal in nature. A cheerful heart will make you whole or well. This is why you need to embrace the culture of gratitude. Pro17v22
ii. It will make you victorious in the battle of life. The joyful you are, the more victorious you become, which is also true in the reverse order. 1Sam2v1; Ps92v11
III. It keeps the anointing fresh on your life. Being joyful is one of the secrets of being anointed. So my dear reader, if you want to keep the anointing fresh on your life, gratitude is a must-have quality. Neh8v10; 1Sam2v1
