(Isaiah 41:10: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand)

As a believer, you have no business with living in fear because God wants you to be fearless and not fearful. Our discourse on Isaiah 41:10 clearly shows the reasons we should not fear. Our focus in today’s lesson will be on other reasons why you should not be afraid. I believe you are ready for an unforgettable encounter with Him in our study today and may your expectations never be cut off.

So why should you not fear?

c. Because the Lord has promised to support, enable, and empower you against fear. This is what he meant in (Isaiah 41:10) by saying “I will strengthen you, I will help you and I will uphold you with my right hand of righteousness.” Since Jehovah has vowed to help you fight the fight of fear, why should you be fearful? I want you to remember that God does not lie at all; you can count on His help and in fact, His help is here for you (Isaiah 41:13). You may ask, “how does He help me in fighting my fear?” He does this by equipping you with the tools and weapons you need to defeat your fears. Glory be to God for He has equipped you with powerful weapons like the Word of God, the Holy Spirit et cetera.

d. Because Jesus has conquered fear for you. His victory over Satan and his cohorts, including fear, is also your victory over fear. Precious child of God, you have no business being afraid because Jesus has conquered fear for you through his ultimate sacrifice. The problem is that not every believer realizes this; hence, the reason they are still in captivity to fear but I can see the tide turning for you (Luke 1:74-75; Romans  8:1-2). You need to rejoice because you are already a victor over fear. Are you going to embrace this truth or keep believing the lie of the devil? I am confident that you will embrace the truth of your liberation from fear and renounce every stronghold of fear from today!
