Romans12verse11 ‘Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the lord.’

Prospering in God’s work requires you to serve in a particular way or manner. This is why not everyone is prospering in God’s Work. The problem has never been with God’s work or the owner of the work but with the doers of the work. This is why this series of lessons is coming your way today so that you can begin to prosper in God’s work.

I have discovered that for anyone to prosper in God’s work, they need to do it the way God wants to be served. God wants to be served in a particular way. He doesn’t want you to serve him anyhow. This is why Paul emphasizes how we ought to serve God in our text scripture (Rom12v11). So how are you doing God’s work? I have discovered that people can do God’s work in the following ways:

-The way they want.

-The way they think he should be served.

-The way they like, i.e., anyhow or any way. Mal1v6

-The Way they know how

-The way people want them to serve him.

All of the above ways of serving God do not fit into the exact mode of serving God.

So what is the best way of serving God? It is serving God the way he wants to be served. When you serve God like this, you cannot but prosper in his work. So my dear reader, make up your minds to serve God in the way he wants to be served. And by the way, God has the right to choose how he wants to be served. After all, it is his work and not your work. 1Cor14v40

So precious child of God, let nothing stop you from serving God in the way and manner he wants to be served. I see you prospering beyond your imagination as you do this.

Prayer for Today: In the name of Jesus, I say no to every unprofitable way of serving God in my life.
