1Kings17verse1-6. ‘And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. V2. And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, v3. Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. V4. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. V5. So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. V6. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
Dearly Beloved, it’s possible for you to do well and even excel in this season. I know the times are challenging but our God reigns! You can prosper by his Grace as Elijah did. You can survive and even succeed in this kind of environment. This is what we intend to learn from this teaching today. So, if you are ready, let’s examine how you can prosper in a time of Difficulty.
HOW TO PROSPER IN DIFFICULT TIMES
1. By Hearkening to his Instructions. Yes, my dear friends, this is what it takes to do well in a time of Difficulty. So, to what extent do you obey God? If Elijah had not listened to the voice of God, he wouldn’t have survived the famine. Therefore, listening to his Instructions will put you in command of difficult situations. Gen31v10-13: Jn21v6. So, make up your mind to obey his Instructions.
Why is it so important for you to hearken to God’s voice? I will share a few reasons with you:
-Because God knows where your pot of blessing is. So, if you don’t want to miss out on your blessings, you need to comply with his Instructions. Lk5v4. Let me also say this: make up your mind to obey God no matter how ridiculous it looks. You will surely not regret this. 2ki4v1-7
-Because God knows how to meet your needs. You can trust His wisdom. not to fail you in this area. So, let your confidence be in His Word.1ki17v2,9
My Dearly Beloved Ones, God’s wisdom is second to none, so you have no reason to fear. My God has supernatural means of meeting your needs in difficult times; you just need to trust Him. He can use anything at any time for you. In fact, he will use anybody at any time for you in this Season. So, keep your eyes on him and watch out for his directives. In the name of Jesus, you will get to your Promise Land.

Prayer for Today: Thank you, Father, for I am fully persuaded that you will see me through this turbulent times in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: It’s my season of prospering in difficult times because God has spoken well concerning me. Therefore, I prosper by his Instructions and Directives. My head shall be lifted up above my fellows and circumstances. As I follow his lead, I will not be put to shame in Jesus name, amen.
