Psalm 37verse18-19 ‘The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever. V19-They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.’
Dearly beloved, it’s clear from our text scripture (Ps37v18-19) that as a child of God, you have:
-An enviable and glorious Inheritance. This means that your future is bright.
-God’s insurance package or covering for prospering in difficult times.
So if I were you, I would rejoice because God has me covered and well protected. Hear this, no matter what happens; you will be safe and secure. So what does it take to really prosper in times like this? How can you survive and succeed in a time of famine or scarcity? This is what I want us to consider now, so off we go!
HOW TO PROSPER IN FAMINE
1. Know God’s promises to you this season and walk in them. Hear this, precious child of God; if you will prosper in this season, you need to know what God has said in his word about your prosperity in a time like this. So are you aware of his promises to you? If you don’t know what he has to say to you, you will be walking in the dark without any particular direction. But when you know what he has to say to you during a time like this, you will worry less and your confidence level will increase. So what are some of the promises that God has made to you for such a time as this? They are quite many, but some of them are as follows: Ps33v18-19;52v8;92v12-14: Jb5v20,22: Jer17v7-8: Jb22v21
These are just some of the scriptures that you need to know for yourself if you will survive and succeed in this season. My dear friends, know them like you know your name. Let it become real to you by way of meditation and let it be a part of your inner consciousness. Knowing these promises is also important but you need to walk in them. And how can you do this? You do this by:
-Believing and having confidence in his word. If he has promised, then he is faithful to deliver. You need to believe this, in order to be a reality in your life. Lk1v45: Ps31v1
-Act as if it’s true. Be a doer of whatever his word says to you. One of the powerful means of doing this is to let your actions correspond to his promises. Begin to see yourself in the light of these promises. As you do this, your prosperity will be evident for all to see in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Today: I declare today in Jesus name that I begin to prosper by the power of his word.
CONFESSION: His Word empowers me to prosper. As I obey his word and instructions, my prosperity shall be evident for all in this season. Nothing Shall stop my prosperity because His Word is working wonders in my life.
