2Ki.6v25: And there was a great famine in Samaria; and indeed they besieged it until a donkey’s head was sold for eighty shekels of silver and one-fourth of a kab of dove droppings for five shekels of silver.
7v1, 16: Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord; ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria”. Then the people went out and plundered the tents of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.
It’s God’s will for you to prosper in a time of crisis. It’s supposed to be a time of lifting for you and not a downtime for you. However, God has certain weapons and tools for bringing you out of crisis that you need to deploy if you will really prosper in this season. I have shared 2 of these secret weapons with you so far, but today I will be sharing 2 other weapons of prosperity in such a time like this. If you are ready, let’s take a look at these weapons.
WAYS OF PROSPERING IN A TIME OF CRISIS:
- Be mindful of where you go or where you are going. This is another crucial weapon that you need to deploy in a time of crisis if you really want to excel and come out victoriously. Where you go or are going will either make or mar your life. It can lift or pull you down. So, where are you going or where have you been going? To emerge victorious in a time of crisis, you need to:
* Stop going to the wrong places and start going to the right places (Pro.14v12).
* Stop going to the wrong people and start going to the right people (Gen.26v1-2).
* Do you go to God or to man? (Jer.33v3). Are you going to where your faith can be built or otherwise? My dear reader, you need to choose where you go carefully if you really want to prosper in this crisis. May today mark the beginning of such an encounter for you (Ps.34v6). - Be mindful of what you do or are doing. My dear reader, what you do or are doing in a time of crisis matters a lot. It will determine whether you will win or lose, be lifted or be pulled down, or succeed or fail. Your actions have great consequences, in fact, your actions determine your outcomes in life. What you do affects both your today, tomorrow, and even your destiny. So, what are you doing in this time of crisis? (2Ki.7v3: 8v1-2). My dearly beloved ones, this is not the time:
* To cry but to be courageous.
* To be passive but to be proactive.
* To blame others or make excuses but to take responsibility.
* To complain but to be grateful.
* To follow the multitude but to follow your conviction.
* To just look but to put on your thinking cap.
* To fear but to be full of faith.
It’s time for you to start doing the right things. It’s time to recharge and reposition yourself in making the right kind of moves that will turn things around for you in Jesus name, amen. I can see things turning around for the better as you start taking actions in line with your vision, convictions and God’s will for your life.

Prayer for Today: Holy Spirit, help me to stay where I ought to stay. Help me to be mindful of what I am doing in this season in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: Lord, I will go to the places I ought to go. I will be mindful of what I do in this season. I do not make permanent decisions based on emotional feelings. I am God-conscious in my actions and deeds. I take action in line with my convictions and dreams. As I pay attention to where I go and what I am doing. I prosper beyond my wildest imaginations and thoughts in Jesus name, amen.
