James 1 v 8: He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

According to Jam. 1 v 8, being double-minded makes you be unstable in all your ways. Friends, this is a powerful truth about being Indecisive. This is why you need to overcome the burden of Indecision in your life. And in our last lesson, I shared some reasons why people are indecisive. Today by his grace, I will be sharing three more reasons for being indecisive. So here we go!

THE REASONS FOR INDECISION:

5. Because of Temporary Setbacks and Failures. At times, some people struggle to make up their minds on time because of the negative experience of failure. But you need to realise that failure is part of success, and the fact that you failed before does not make you a failure, neither does it mean you can’t or won’t succeed. So my dear reader, don’t allow failure to keep you down. The truth of the matter is that most successful people have failed before, but they did not allow their failures to stop or define them. So it’s time to pick yourself up (Lk. 15 v 12-32).

6. Because of Temporary Comfort. This can also make someone to become indecisive, so, therefore, never allow your temporary comfort to stop you from pressing forward and moving higher. You need to remember that what God has in store for you is far better than what you have or where you are now. So never settle for less rather, go for gold. Besides, God wants to give you far better than what any other man can give you. This is why you need to say no to Indecision in any form in your life for there lies a greater future ahead of you (Gen. 12 v 1-4).

7. Because they are not destiny conscious. If you are destiny conscious, you will also be time conscious. Time waits for no man, and God also won’t wait for you forever. So stop thinking you have all the time in the world to accomplish your destiny. There is a prophetic time table for your life. Therefore, you are expected not to live anyhow but to make the most of your time here (Ps. 39 v 4). My dear beloved ones, it’s time to wake up to your responsibilities. It’s time to wake up from your slumber. It’s time for you to stop thinking you have all the time in the World to accomplish your assignment. It’s time for you to be more time conscious and stop empowering Indecision in your life (Ps. 39 v 4).

As you can see dearly beloved that there is no curse without a cause. Nothing just happens! Once you understand the root cause of a thing, you are better equipped with the solutions or way out. I pray that you will gain mastery over Indecision in your life in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, I am determined to walk in victory over indecision from today. I refuse to justify my excuses for my hour of deliverance is here in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: From today, I take hold of my destiny and daily activities. I am proactive and not passive. I take action on the things that I need to do without any excuses or delay. I refuse to allow any temporary setbacks or failure to hinder or stop me from moving forward. I seize the moment now. I take my chances on time. Therefore, I possess my possessions and maximise my time and resources to the best of my abilities and grace
