Luke 13verse6-9 ‘V6-He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. V7-Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? V8-And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: V9-And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.’
You are welcome back to our discussion on overcoming barrenness. It is God’s will for barrenness to be broken in your life and this is what these series of teachings are set to accomplish. I pray that this will be a living reality for you! So how can someone break the stronghold of barrenness? How can you defeat barrenness? You can defeat barrenness by:
1. Praying Through. This is not just praying casually but by travailing in prayers. This is the kind of prayer that make things happen. Beloved, this is how you must pray if things will change for the better. This kind of prayer opens closed heavens, closed doors and also closed wombs. Lk3v21; Col4v3; Gen30v22. So what exactly is prevailing prayers? It is:
-Praying to give birth to something.
-Praying persistently until there is a Breakthrough.
-Praying until the burdens lift.
-Praying until you feel a release.
-Praying until peace settles in.
-Praying fervently for the establishment of God’s will.
-Praying until you hit the victory note.
-Praying until you inwardly sense that you have broken the barrier.
-Praying until the promise of God manifest.
-Praying to push the purposes of God through.
My dear friends, it’s time for you to prevail in prayers. It’s time for you to pray like Moses prayed. Exo17v10-18. It’s time for you to pray like Jacob prayed. Hos12v3-5. It’s time to pray like Hannah prayed. 1Sam1v10-15
Are you ready to pray until your breakthrough is established?
